Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

Our practice aims to encourage positive relationships with patients and values patient views and ideas, which is critical to the provision of a modern high quality general practice.

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) will provide a structure that reflects and gains the views of our patients and enables patients to have a say about health issues and health services.

The PPG will enable the practice to obtain feedback and suggestions from a cross section of the practice population, which is as representative as possible. Therefore we need members from a variety of age groups, sex (M/F) and different ethnic backgrounds

It will also help patients understand the difficulty/pressures practices are facing with the ever changing health service.

Membership may have to be limited depending on response.

This will NOT be a forum to air complaints; the practice has a robust complaints procedure.

Our practice is very interested in how you would like to be involved, you may find it more convenient to become a ‘virtual group member’ having an email/internet forum or contact via feedback on our website. Or you may prefer group discussions and meetings.

Please let us have you feedback by telephone on 0116 2898111or call into the practice and ask the receptionist for a registration form.

If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
